The Locust Grove Arts Alliance is sponsoring a gallery showing of handmade holiday ornaments created for any holiday that you choose. The entries will be displayed in the office LGAA art gallery from Nov. 13, 2017-Jan. 3, 2018.  They will then be transferred to a tree displayed in the office.

The deadline for entering your ornament(s) is December 1, 2017.

Rules:

1. Create an ornament that celebrates a holiday.
2. Make the ornament suitable for hanging on an indoor tree.
3. Bring your ornament to the office or Wonder City Coffee to enter.
4. Enter the contest at the cost of $5 per ornament. See attached entry form.
5. Three artists’ ornaments with the most votes by the public on December 5^th, the day of the Chamber sponsored Christmas Parade, will win $50 each.
6. Voting will run from 9 to 4:30 on December 5. The winners will be announced at 5 p.m.

Contest Categories:

1. Best Nature Ornament–The ornament that best incorporates elements of Mother Nature.
2. Most Artistic–The ornament that best incorporates aesthetic, creative, inventive techniques.
3. Most Impactful–The ornament that is the most dynamic, impressive, and moving
