The current LGAA exhibit celebrates the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote and honors the 19th amendment in art and poetry. This exhibit includes materials commissioned and used in the Rural Oklahoma Museum of Poetry’s 2020 exhibit Justice Not Roses.
The exhibit contains original illustrations by local artist Alysha Little that she created for ROMP’s exhibit booklet and also some planning notes and sketches from exhibit artist Bryan Nicholaus Grey, who did the artwork and installation of the exhibit at ROMP.
Free exhibit booklets, that include original poetry about 20 different suffragists by Shaun Perkins, are available at the LGAA gallery when you visit.
